Rachel | 7 comments Picked this one up because I was curious about it. Haven't seen the movie either. Hope it's good!

I just finished it last night and thought about it until I fell asleep. Definitely sad, I was rooting for the patients the whole time.

Krista (k_lou) | 48 comments Just started this for week 15, I remember the movie, especially Nurse Ratched though it was a very long time ago that I saw it so hopefully that doesn't mar the book itself, I was surprised by who the narrator is, I don't remember if the movie was narrated at all. I still have other books that I am lagging behind with but hopefully I will get this one read on the correct week. Heres hoping.

Jody (jodybell) | 531 comments I read this recently, but for my "started but not finished" book. I wasn't a huge fan, but I do want to see the movie - I think I'd prefer it

Sophie (sawphie) I saw the movie at school about ten years ago and loved it. I didn't know there was a book at the time, otherwise I would have read it before seeing the movie. Now I wonder if it would be a good idea to add it to my TBR (which is ever growing faster than I can read). What do you think?

Krista (k_lou) | 48 comments I really enjoyed it, I liked the way the chief comes out of the fog as you read, the struggles between the patients and the big nurse who always terrified me from the movie. Well worth reading.

Lillis Lish | 11 comments I saw the movie first before I read the book. The book is definitely better and helps you understand the movie. It is so close to how Mental hospitals used to be before they made Electro shock treatments voluntary.
