I know, I've been totally AWOL for a long time. This academic year at work has been the worst. Our year runs September - July so I'm getting closer to the end.

I've still been reading but just haven't had time to pop on here. I'm going to try actively to visit here a little bit more. Hope you're all well.

Best of luck on all the challenges Kay! So many pretty covers. You need to read Six Crimson Cranes from your bookish box catch up. Such a good book.

Updated everything here. I recently finished which was such a beautiful book. I really can't recommend it enough. It's fantastic.

I'm working on some unfinished series for my physical reads this month so just about to start on today.

For audiobooks I am about an hour into which I am buddy reading with Brittany.

I'm so happy you loved The House in the Cerulean Sea! Indeed it's amazing :)

I did. It was my first book by TJ Klune. I'll definitely be picking up more by him in the future.

Okay! Do I need to worry about any RH? Because I hate RH lol

I would have warned you if it was RH. It is not. It feels like it could have been at one point but it definitely isn't!
You could skip the warped books for now but I would recommend reading Spellbound and Demonized together. Warped is still coming out so reading them after works.

Out of curiosity what is RH? The only thing my brain is coming up with is red head.

I think Demonized was my favourite hehe but I loved them all

demonized seems to be most peoples favourite! I still love Spellbound most but not by much

I liked it. It's not the best book I've ever read, but I did find it enjoyable. I will continue the series, but I'm not gonna be immediately diving into the next one. Nothing about the series, I'm just not a binge reader haha.

Totally fair! I do think they get better as they go and at some point the series turned into an addiction for me and now I cant get enough of them.

June is not going the best due to the busiest work month of my life, but I have managed to get through these so far:

I finished the audio of and it was cute. Not the best book in the world but it was really fun. I love a good fun book for audio, so I am going into the second book now.

Still reading Monsters Born and Made. It is a very good but I just haven't had any time to read.

Ah you've read all of the Shades of Magic comics Kay, I got the individual issues and I'm on Issue #7 I think! I use them at the end of the year to get up to my Goodreads Challenge goal. How did you find them? (no spoilers for The Rebel Army or the second half of The Night of Knives, I haven't got there yet!).

I really liked them. I don't usually read comics but I was in a super slump and couldn't get into any novels so I picked them up as I love VE Schwab. They were really enjoyable and super quick to read.

Glad to hear that Kay! I've really enjoyed what I've read so far too, and I'm not usually a comics reader either. I also have her ExtraOrdinary comics, so I'm excited to get into those once I finish the Shades of Magic ones.

I read Extraordinary a few months ago as I adore her Vicious series. I really enjoyed that one too. I never end up rating comics 5 stars because I just fly through them. I feel like I don't appreciate the art enough. I just read the words haha

I feel the same, I do tend to read the words more than really appreciate the pictures, though as I don't tend to picture things as I read, having a visual indicator of what everything is supposed to look like is helpful!

That's true. I definitely took more note of the art in the Steel Prince ones than I did in ExtraOrdinary.
