Princess Monkey Boo | 3 comments So I think I read this book around 10-15 years ago (2008-2013) but at this point I'm wondering if I only dreamt it. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a new book.

It is a fiction, probably historical, set in an "Egypt like" setting, where a junior sculptor as to do a piece for the queen (or person of authority) in order to stay free(or to be free), there's a fault in the rock and the sculptor has to work around. The protagonist as a special place where he does his job that's hidden from everyone else.

If I remember correctly there's slavery involved and/or a revolution. And the protagonist as a wife.
