Hassan | 52 comments In 2029, the world is an apocalyptic wasteland where Skynet has nearly dominated the entire planet. Skynet sends a T-1000 back in time to kill john Connor (future resistance leader) as a child. The resistance sends a reprogrammed T-800 back in time to protect John. In 1995 LA, John is being raised by his foster parents when the T-1000 finds him, but he's rescued by the T-800 and forbids him to kill anyone. Meanwhile Sarah is residing in a hospital due to her violent attempts to prevent judgment day (when Skynet incites a nuclear holocaust). She is rescued by John and the T-800 after escaping the shapeshifting T-1000. They learn that a microprocessor is being developed by Miles Dyson at Cyberdyne systems which will lead to the creation of Skynet. During their journey Sarah sees the T-800 becoming a father figure towards John. They eventually confront Dyson and explain the future consequences of his action, where they agree the technology must be destroyed. They head to the Cyberdyne labs where they destroy the research, but Dyson dies in the process. The T-1000 corners them in a steel mill were both terminators fight resulting in the T-1000 falling in molten metal and dissolving. The T-800 reveals that he must also be destroyed to prevent any possibility of Skynet being resurrected. He lowers himself into the vat and melts and Sarah narrates the ending leaving on a hopeful note.

I will give this movie 5/5 for originality, plot, characters, and design. The movie was an excellent sequel and most likely the last good terminator movie audiences will ever see.
