Camp Half-Blood discussion

((were we allowed to do it?))
Estelle walked side-by-side with Spike into the Library. The librarian sat behind her desk with a grim look on her face. "I'm sorry you two but its past curfew and you need to both be in your cabins," she said in a nasty tone. Estelle sighed and drew in a breath. She hated using her Charmspeak powers but they needed information and this was the only way to get it.
Estelle walked up to the old woman's desk and drew in a breath. She closed her eyes and reopened them. "I think you should allow us to stay s long as we like and you will tell no one," she speaks in a tone with grace and sudection. The woman face goes slack and she nods. "Of course, read anything you like," the old woman says, unaware of what she is doing.
Estelle smiles warmly and motions for Spike to follow her lead.
Spike seemed very impressed as he headed towards Estelle. He looked at the librarian with a confused yet surprised face. The old woman motioned for them to look around, he nodded as he headed back towards Estelle. "What did you do to the poor woman?" He said, trying not to let his laugh spill.
( i dont know.... its alright tho ))
"I am a daughter of Aphrodite, so I gained one of her many tricks. All I did was Charmspeak and believe me its not as fun as it looks," Estelle mutters. "Now can we focus on the task at hand?" she asks as she walks through several sections of the library until she find weapons and the heroes sections. "Go look through the Heros of Camp Half-Blood section and find anything you can on Percy. I'll look through the weapons and try to find anything on the sword<" she says begging to venture off and pull books off the shelves.
"Yes ma'am." He said, laughing as he headed for the book section. Heroes.....Camp Half Blood......S.....T.....U... shoot, too far...P...P....Percy! Got it!. He used his hands as the air turned white around him, his eyes turned black as he muttered a few words. The book came from the high shelf as it leveled in his hands. "Now, to look at this in some light." He said looking for some light and looking for Estelle. "Hey, Estelle, you here?" He asked, trying to keep his voice in a minimum level hoping she would hear him
.Estelle pursed her lips and pulled more books off the shelves. Five to be exact. Each one is different but all connect to the same thing. A demi-god killing sword. She looked up from the book she was reading. "Over here," she says motioning for Spike to come over to where she was.
((Sorry about the late response, I was eating dinner))
He saw her waving and headed her direction. "Here. I found the book, but I'm not really sure if it'll be helpful to us." He said as he hesitantly placed the book on the table.
(( its okay. ))
Estelle smiled and opened the book, flipping through the pages. "Ah! Here!" She affirmed. "It says: Anaklusmos (Greek for Riptide) is the prized sword of Percy Jackson that is made of Celestial Bronze, a material that is only deadly to gods, demigods, magicians, Titans, Giants, and monsters. It does not affect mortals, as it just passes through them harmlessly." She pauses looking up at Spike. "So not only can it take away demi-gods powers it can take away gods powers too," she whispers.
"I think I'll go pick out another book while you sort through these things." He said, indicating the books she had on the table, as he headed back to the area he found the book. He flipped through a few sections and found the area. ...P....Pe-Perci, no...Perciea, no,...Percy. Yes. Here.. He lifted his hands, mumbled a few words and brought two of the books down to his hands. He headed over to the table again as he placed the two books he had found. "These might be more useful to use." Spike said, pushing the first book aside.
Estelle moved the books over and began to read the books that Spike had put in front of her. "The sword was given to him by Chiron the centaur, on the instructions of Poseidon; the sword's history goes back to Heracles, who was gifted that sword by the nymph Zoë Nightshade, a daughter of Atlas." she read. "Umm..." she began as she flipped through more pages. "Oh! It was created by the Titan Oceanus. Maybe find something on him? You might want to also talk to Chiron about going on a quest. That might be the only way you can save the kid." she adds the last part quietly.
"I don't know about saving the kid, but I'm more than happy to help him in a way....Because he did kind of break my nose along with my legs," he said, pointing to his now healed legs."
.Estelle laughed, "Well you did kidnap him. I would have broken more than your nose and leg," she said with a smirk. "Now, I may not know you that well, but I think we should find a few more people that you trust and we should gather sometime and discuss this. We can't do this by ourselves. The gods seem to be going rogue so we are going to need some help if we are going to help this kid." Estelle let out a breath he didn't know she was holding. Stupid motivational speaking skills. she thought.
"I know...I really should...I really really should...But I can't. It's not because I don't want to, I really truly do....it's just.." He sighed, trying to hold back his fears of losing his family and putting full trust into Estelle. "Look...I know I only just met you know...but I'm being followed...by one of the big three's friend." He paused before looking around and then leaning into Estelle's ears to tell her the rest. "Allison knows what I'm doing, and by all means she'll do her very best to pull me out of camp and hurt my family....She's using an alibi to do her dirty work and put the blame on me." He said, unable to resist the urge to cry as a few tears trickled down from his face.
."Has your Allison friend ever met a daughter of APhrodite with an extremely strong Charmspeaking ability? Or a grandaughter of Athena who can outsmart most of her actual children?" she asks in a sarcastic tone. "Believe me, I won't let her hurt your family or you. But you have to trust me. I know what I'm doing." she says, standing up from the wooden chair. She stacks the books on top of each other.
"I'm trying Estelle. Really I am, but I just know she'll use me for something dangerous....I know...I'm trying hard....but I just can't let the thought go..." He wiped his tears as he stared at the books. Don't tell her that...You'll end up like your mother. Stay Strong and fight for what's right, son, you'll get to the end I promise.. It was his father, Aeolus, giving him the pep talk of courage. He chuckled as he stood up from his chair. "Thanks."
"Hmm? What was that?" she asked, piling the books into her arms. "It doesn't matter." she adds quickly, "Go back to your cabin and think it over. We can meet here or the garden in the morning. But think over what I said. I know this isn't my fight but I sure do hope that you realize that I don't back down easily." she says before walking out of the library with a pile of books in her arms. "Have a good rest of your night," she whispers to the librarian; who only smiles and blushes pink.
"Take care of yourself too." He said nodding to the librarian as he headed out.
(Should we time skip to the morning??))(( I have to go to bed... but yeah definitely in the morning :) ))
((Coolio. Talk then)).

((You here?))
(( yeah sorry :) ))
Estelle walked into the library with a grim look on her face. The morning sun shone through the sheer curtained windows. She didn't have to Charmspeak her way in this time. It was late enough that the library was open to campers but early enough that no one would be there. She walked to the back of the library waiting for Spike. She didn't know if he would show up or not, so she sat in one of the chairs. Waiting.
((Just asking...))
Spike had gone to his cabin to sleep only to realize he had accidentally taken the books from the library. He had a terrible night after sneakily breaking into the library after the librarian had "gone", placed them back and was about to leave when he saw the librarian glaring at him. 'Just gr8' he thought as the librarian scolded him for what seemed like hours. As he left and headed to his cabin he was finally able to sleep, only to be awoken 3 hours from then. He didn't sleep much so he wasn't doing too well with his sight. He entered the library with a crash as he fell to the floor.
