Greg | 1461 comments I have only read 20 of these so far, but it's an interesting list! I'm curious to check out a number of them, and others are already on my to-read list.

Hayley | 550 comments I've only read 5 and not even heard of most of these, but then I've always been more into fantasy than Sci fi.

I wondered if there was a fantasy equivalent and there is but I've still only read 11 on there. Interestingly the fifth season is on both lists. I think alot of the choices on the fantasy list are questionable at best.

Fannie D'Ascola | 607 comments I love book list, thank you to you both.

I read 19 of the SF and 12 of the fantasy list. Two books are on both list, seems like they can't agree. :)

Greg | 1461 comments I read 14 on the fantasy list, but I agree with you Hayley. Although there are some great books on the list, some of them are a bit of a stretch to be included in the fantasy category. I've never heard of some others.

There are some on both lists that I'm curious to check out though! Thanks for posting the lists!

I've read 25 of the SF, some of the rest are on my to read while others I'm not interested. I've only read 11 on the fantasy list with some definitely high on my to read while others I've never heard of and have no interest. Hayley, right, questionable at best! lol

Thanks for sharing the lists! Lists are always fun.

Not too impressed with the fantasy list -- of the ones I've read, many are not great or outright suck.

message 10: by Greg (new)

Greg | 1461 comments I did love the ones I've read for the most part (with one or two exceptions), but since I've only read 14, who knows what I'd think about the majority. I do think the lists are slanted toward a certain kind of fantasy or sci-fi book and doesn't capture what all (or even most) fantasy/sci-fi readers are looking for.

Vinca Russell (vinxlady) | 1561 comments I think I've read around 20 on each list, loads on there I've never even heard of though!
