Start Date: April 1st
Duration: Open

Set you own challenge goal. Do as many or as few as you like.

TASKS LIST:

Birthstones (April diamond; May emerald; June alexandrite): Read a book with a cover that is at least 50% white, green or purple.

Read a book that is set during Spring.

Spring into Action: Read a book with a fitness theme OR where the MC is physically active (exercises, jogs, dances, plays a sport, etc.) OR with a primary character who is a professional athlete, dancer, yogi, fitness instructor, etc.

Spring Break: Read a book where the MC travels to another town/city or goes on vacation OR that is set in a location that you would like to visit.

Spring is Baseball Season: Read a book with an MC who lives in or returns to her/his home town.

Spring represents newness: Read a book by a debut author or the 1st book in a new-to-you series.

Easter Eggs: Read a book with a pastel cover (light pink, light blue, light green, light yellow or lavender) - at least 50%.

April is Lawn and Garden month: Read a book with a flower(s), tree(s) and/or lawn on the cover.

Earth Day is in April: Read a used or borrowed print book or read an e-book.

April 1st is April Fool's Day and April is Humor month: Read a book that makes you laugh.

How to Play:

📚Rules (and exceptions):
📕One book per task; one task per book - except for the bonus.

📙Books must be at least 125 pages - except for the May task.

📒Books can be any genre. Cozies are preferred.

📗Post the cover when the task requires a specific item or color.

📘Tell us which one you chose when the task has options.

📓Identify the primary character.
Primary characters appear in several scenes in the book. May be the sleuth, sidekick, victim, detective, suspect, s/o, family member, etc. Be sure to identify the murderer as one of the suspects. Don't spoil the mystery for others.
