He asked questions that shouldn't have been on his mind. Now he has written an account that should not be published that shouldn't be read. Not even by you. Lemony Snicket, in case you don't already know, grew up to be the author of A Series of Unfortunate Events series.

Ch 1-4 (view spoiler)[ This is kind of funny and pretty intriguing so far. You can definitely tell it's from Snicket through the writing.
I wonder who those people were if not Lemony's parents and what they wanted with him? And who is the girl he was supposed to meet with? (hide spoiler)]

Ch 5-7 (view spoiler)[ I wonder if the sub librarian guy is the one who called Ellington? He has a deep voice and is living in the town. Lots of questions about everything going on still (hide spoiler)]

Ch1-4. Like the way this is set up and introduces us to the character. The narrator’s rather hard to listen to, but I’m liking the story so far.

I hate when the narrator isn't great

Ch 8-11 (view spoiler)[ I'm more confused about this mystery than I am about some adult mysteries. It seems like all the weird things happening are related, but I'm not sure how. (hide spoiler)]

Ch 12-End (view spoiler)[ that ended much sooner than I thought, about 90% of the ebook. I didn't realize this would go to a sequel, so now I'll have to get book two I guess.

I do wonder what Lemony and his sister were planning and why the chaperones were fighting over him (hide spoiler)]

It makes it harder. They're not bad per se, but the accent is off-putting and I'm finding it hard to understand certain words.

Ch5-8. I’m curious to know who’s behind these calls and who might be orchestrating some of these events. Every time they seem to push toward finding an answer, something else gets added to the mix.

I’m really sorry ladies. I had every intention to read and I’ve been so busy lately. I hope there are still people who are interested in reading this and haven’t started yet.
