Children of Virtue and Vengeance
question
What do you guys think of this book?

I personally hated it! I found the book to be basically queer-baiting me. I want Amari and Zelie together sooooo bad and still nothing. I think that Inan Is just...a horrible character and I wish he would have died in the orginal book. Why is Roen now a love intrest? Tzain apperantly isn't worth a point of veiw......Just a dissapointment from the previous book.

I dunno, I found it refreshing to find a YA book that DIDN'T have romance as the main (or distracting from the main) point. They have bigger things to worry about than who's cute, teehee. The book and their world is vicious, unforgiving, and treacherous, and these young ladies have more on their mind then who to go to prom with. It's finally a 'realistic' YA book. Even though it's fantasy, the teens grow up hard and fast and aren't distracted by goofy teen stuff....they buckle down, suffer, and get done what needs to be done in a way that I feel is genuine and how they would truly react to the situation. I love it.
