Play Book Tag discussion

This book moves back and forward in time to tell the story of how Japanese culture changed after the end of World War 2 and the psychological damage done by those events. The story needed to be pieced together, and there were bits that I didn’t quite understand how they all tied up together, or even if I had interpreted them correctly. There were lots of strands to this story, and not all of the strands were tied up by the end of the book, which left me feeling quite unsatisfied. This is definitely my least favourite by Ishiguro so far.
