Heartless has been chosen as our April BOTM. What were your thoughts about the book?

I recently finished it, and it's SO GOOD! I like it, a lot!

same, i read it last month
it was so good but at the same time i wanted to cry
and i already knew, just from the blurb, that it would end badly - i mean we all know what the queen of hearts is like - so that made it even worse

I was crying while reading it!
Yes, I expected the story didn't end up well, but I never expected to be so heartbroken ;(

Do you know other book like heartless? The kind that has beautiful love story?

happy - Hana Khan Carries On, A Pho Love Story, Sorcery of Thorns (that one's a fantasy)

sad - i can't think of many off the top of my head, but Me Before You is one

Me Before You is the one that got a movie adaptation, right? I know the story ;(

i haven't watched it yet, i'm putting it off because i feel like i'll cry too much 😭

This one is definitely gonna make you cry. I think I watched it two times already, and both times I cry!

I'll definitely have to check some of these out. I loved Heartless and Sorcery of Thorns!
