I noticed an incorrect link, in two places referring to the Gentle Spectrums review page. I joked to Sue about not seeing the title entry format but she probably wasn't led to the review page! I moved your title to "daunting", where I imagine you wanted it to go unless you say otherwise. :)

If you chose the review page from the menu atop the blog, it was always fine. At the main Gentle Spectrums sign-up and our bulletin board page for the three 2015 challenges, clicking the link sent you straight inside a linky button. Sorry about that! They have been corrected. Anywhere you click now, you are sent to the whole review page.

It has a nice write-up of details: about creatively overcoming button problems, the review database we are building... (hence being anal about data entry). LOL! I enjoy seeing what everybody sends in. https://cmriedel.wordpress.com/gentle...

How is everyone doing? Personally? Book wise? I can't believe it's October. Happy birthday to Sarah in Scotland, yesterday! Anyone else since this summer? Mine is November 18. :) It's a good time for updates, which will be seen by Goodreads group members here, rather than create a post for all blog subscribers.

(1) I hope it's clear that you are invited to share in discussions and activities, whether or not you have a blog and whether or not you signed up for one of my reading challenges. I love sharing with each of you and vice versa!

(2) Everyone knows that this year I ditched any obligation to do reviews, right? If you've found the year has zipped by and you don't relish composing nor inputting: just come onto the blog and type a list of what you've read so far. Or if you do write-ups someplace else that discuss your reading journies, sharing that link is a great alternative too. It works for me for you to leave lists here at Goodreads too. Go ahead and find the thread that suits whatever you share.

I decided that the main reason for reviews is to keep members coming back. But a discussion, a hello, or a text-based list of books in the comment section of the blog or this group is the same. You know I'm here and interested in how all of you are diong. :-)

P.S. This is your group as well as mine. If there are books you'd like people to know about, go ahead and add them to the bookshelf here. Same for photographs. I don't intend for them to solely be mine. Nina added a few books last year. * Stay tuned for the next prize activity. It is themed for Gentle Spectrums! Participation is invited by everyone whom it interests.

We're so small in each challenge, if only a couple from Gentle Spectrums chimed in; I would draw from among all who answered the post! The Ethereal topic closed with no takers. I'm clarifying that my groups are too small to be strict about 'those offically signed up'. I figured we've all preferred to be outside this summer. Let's see who's around to play shortly. :)

Aw, thanks! It can be hard to tell when it isn't very chatty but I know many like to read news without saying anything. As a guest, I also know it's frustrating for a group to conduct too much traffic, so I'm grateful our crew is happily camped on here. :)

P.S. This is the time of year I lament that more hosts don't run outside December 31st! I haven't figured out bingo squares nor supplied URLs, far beyond my sites. I'll be cramming! Thus, even though *we* have until January 31st to share lists of titles, or link to RIEDEL Fascination, I think it worthwhile to clarify: folks don't need to scurry with review page-inputting. Simply listing titles, or sharing progress any way y'all like is lovely. Anything that keeps folks visiting the blog, or this group.

Here is a sample of what our friends and peers have been reading, in the colourful "Gentle Spectrums" categories! It's an opportunity to discuss anybody's reading updates too. https://cmriedel.wordpress.com/2016/0...

This note is at the bottom, after category samples but might as well ensure folks see it.

WRAP-UPS WELCOMED ANYWHERE YOU WISH
I haven't done wrap-up pages but can, if you like them. If you took time to make fresh posts, or updated your original ones: you bet I will give you the respect of reading them! Drop those links off at any page / post of each challenge. Even if you get to it at a later date, I always read your comments.

Please know, outside of the "Blogspot" captcha and now a "Disqus" e-mail confirmation barrier, I always wish to comment and show I have visited. I respond to your posts right at my blog if I have to, so be sure to come back and see what I wrote. :)
