I love when you look back on a book, think of the plot and on one level think that not too much happened. You could give the plot in a succinct paragraph.
But then to also know there's no way that you could pack what the book's about into that paragraph; that it works on so many different levels that it keeps unpacking in your mind after you put the book down.
I had never read anything by Wilde before, and am very glad I now have.
So glad to hear you enjoy it, Josh. My third time reading it, and it never gets old.
Simply too many layers of wit, creepiness, sarcasm, and human nature to absorb in one story!

I don't know if there's any character you can fully get behind, but at the same time they all show flashes of attributes that still garner sympathy.
