Would you read this? How is my story line? How are the characters? Please give honest feedback!
Outside, it was raining and thundering. She has always had a stormy birthday ever since she was a baby. Her name is Fay, and today is her 18th birthday. Three years in a row, she spent her birthday alone. Her mother, Fleur was out reporting the terrible weather. Fay's father, Beckett was at his office for an "essential" meeting. (In his words.) And Odessa, Fay's sister, was at a summer camp called Martin's Science Camp. Willow, Fays' best friend, was two states away for a family gathering, so she was unable to attend. She slowly pushes back her chair at her desk, which overlooks the street where she lives, Woodgaurd Manor. She gets up and asks herself, "Why am I always alone on my birthday?" as she picks up the book that she's currently reading, "The Man In The Garden." Even though she has read this book twice before, she loves it so much that she has decided to read it again. She walks over to her door and opens it with her right hand, holding her book with her left. As she steps into the corridor, the tears are blurring her vision as she walks toward the stairs.
I think the characters have much potential along with this book, the names are very uncommon making for an interesting spin and the fact that it’s happened before makes it better, having depth of character, keep working and I’d love to give you a more in detail review but I don’t have the time unfortunately :D
I like it a lot , it has great potential, please tell me Fay is gonna be a complete bad a$$! And plsss let her have a dog she finds along the way, it could walk around with her and it could tilt its head if she talked to it, I can’t wait to see if you publish this! Feel free to message me if you need help figuring out a new scene or character! I’m very imaginative when it comes to creating people or scenarios I wish were real
