Edit: No luck. Sorry! 😢 Now, it's going to bug me!

P.s. i hate cheating mcs.- hero ,heroine side kick anyone. My anger issues show up.😡
Have you read Private Arrangements? They both cheat but are estranged. It is more of an other man situation though.
Confessions of an Improper Bride & Pleasures of a Tempted Lady - they’re an OW factor in this series. I don’t want to give anything away but you might like.
There’s also a weird situation A Hint of Wicked in but again more of a other man one.

I agree

These are some that I've finished:
The Day of the Duchess - The hero (view spoiler) These events take place in an earlier book in the series The Rogue Not Taken
The Charm School - this is more a "feels like cheating" situation than actual cheating as (view spoiler)
The Taming - for some reason, I liked this one. Need to do a re-read.
Once and Always - again, not an actual cheating situation.
The Ugly Duchess - H/h are apart for years and he cheats.
Dreaming of You - IIRC, hero (view spoiler) 🤦♀️

Leanne, are you thinking about A Duke In Tme by Janna McGregor? I read the 1st book.

The Rake's Rainbow looks interesting.

This is the series where the husband marries three women and they have to find out who he married first and if the one who has conceived has a legitimate heir.
Where There's a Will
A Duke in Time
Rules for Engaging the Earl

I hate cheating, but I enjoyed this trilogy. After all, the cheater is dead and not the true hero in any of these ladies' lives.
Joanna - yep, books to avoid for me!

This actually sounds really good.

The Unexpected Wife
The Defiant Wife
The Duke’s Wife

Yes, I believe so. It’s been a while since I read so I don’t recall exactly. I am not sure if it’s quite what you’re looking for either, but there’s certainly some complicated relationships going on.

Is this usual? I have already read books where before the couple is HEA the guy (ahhhh, always the guy :D!!!!) "cheats" the heroine but I think when they are together I don't remember. And this cheating it's not technically cheating, right?

The Book of Scandal
A Duchess in Name
Rebel
The first three, I actually enjoyed the angst and felt the heroes redeemed themselves. Rebel made me angry, so much so that I could not bring myself to read the OW's book next up, even though I read the rest of the series. There are other books that I could not finish, because cheating heroes and doormat heroines do not make good reading for me.

I didn't even cover most bodice-rippers ;) . I hope the suggestions keep coming! I've already read three new books
I presume you have read the House of Rohan series by Anne Stuart. I can't remember whether they involved cheating but the Heros in these books are very bad. 'Breathless' in particular - I loved it but he was utterly despicable and I felt very conflicted trying to reconcile my enjoyment of the book with his behaviour.

I've read the first two and there is no cheating although they are very terribly "bad boy" heroes.

Susan, like you, I couldn't remember if there was cheating. I stopped @ Breathless. But I think your right Lauren! Just bad boy Rakes.

Hi Lauren,I am not sure I have read many on this category but on the top of my head,I really liked Number 4 of Domestic Discipline
Claiming His Wife
The couple is married but estranged and they cheat on each other. However I would not recommend it as a standalone. You can still go for it but it makes much more sense if you have read the other ones as well.
Birching his Bride
Dealing with Discipline
Punishing His Ward
Quite steamy mind you, maybe also under erotica territory?

A Masked Deception MOC H keeps a mistress
An Infamous Marriage MOC H cheats
An Unwelcome Alliance MOC H CHEATS W/MISTRESS
