What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I had this book when I was a little girl, sometime between 2000-2003. It was a small book about a fairy whose name was Forget-Me-Not. I think there was something about her helping a baby bird who fell from a nest and she either had to get back to her mother or help the bird get back to its mother. The fairy may have slept in a flower and she was depicted as being unusual or clumsy. In the back of the book were fairy spells and empty pages for writing your own spells.

If so it was solved and the book was The Secret Fairy In Fairyland by Penny Dann. Published in 2001.

Thanks so much for your comment, but it isn't either of these. If I remember right, the book had more of a white background and slightly less modern looking illustrations. I think the Forget-Me-Not fairy had dark, shorter hair. I actually ordered the Cicely Mary Barker book in hopes it was the one I'm remembering, and although it's a lovely book, it isn't the one I'm thinking of.

I believe it was a picture book. The memory is very vague and I couldn't say how many pages long. It was a smallish book that fit in my hands as a child. I remember it had some rhymey spells and blank pages towards the end for making up your own spells.

Solved! My mom found this book for me on a bookshelf at her house. It's called My Book of Fairy Secrets by Nicola Baxter and illustrated by Cathie Shuttleworth. The main storybook came with a small notebook for writing spells and locket key which is what I remembered being small.
