Although I've read the book and was the one who recommended it, I'll contribute here. I wanted to read it because I thought Kate Moore did a great job with Radium Girls. She seems to be telling the stories of important women I should know about. Her writing style also appeals to me in a way that keeps me reading. She makes a great story out of non-fiction.

I really loved Radium Girls, so I'm looking forward to this one! Have just requested it from the library, and I don't think it will be too long before I can get my hands on it.

Started this yesterday! Compelling from the start, I don't think it'll take me long to finish, especially since I am proctoring standardized tests for two days at the start of next week and will have some quiet reading time.
