When the mauling of victims coincides with the full moon and points to signs of wolves, Dresden is called in again leading him to learn more than he probably wanted to about werewolves and unfortunately continues to tie him to the local mobster Marcone.

I enjoy the world building in the Dresden Files and I am pulled in to what to know more about Dresden, his history and the White Council. I'm just put off by the awkward and persistent sexism and over blown egotism of Dresden. I get that he is the only wizard and probably has his own trust issues but he/ the author constantly sees the women as bodies to look at first, then to protect and occasionally consider as having something else to contribute. I'm still intrigued to know more and I see in the comments that they get better but I won't be reaching out for the next one immediately.
