Everyone reads at their own pace during a Buddy Read. Because participants can be at different parts of the book at different times, it is extremely important to mark spoilers so that the book is not ruined for someone who is not as far along as others!!!

Probably won't start this until later in the month. I'm so hopeful that I will like this one as well as I did installment #11!

I'm saving this one for the ATY Readathon starting May 21!

I finished and enjoyed this one. I just kinda speed-read through any gory details. I'm rather intrigued by (view spoiler)[Alex's change of careers back to private practice. Though that would be so difficult in the situation such as knowing the abuser of your patient is a cop, etc. I was rather happy when he confronted him, and yet, I can't help but think Alex would have suffered some grief for that aggressive behavior in real life. But this is Patterson. Not real life! LOL

Glad to get some history about Maria's death, especially John's confession to Alex at the end. Awwww...that's a true friend! (hide spoiler)]
