Murder of Crows discussion

I had very low expectations for this book series if I'm being honest. I read the summary of it and was not super impressed. It sounded cheesy and clichéd so I probably wouldn't have read it if I wasn't encouraged to read it by a friend.

I was so shocked about how much I enjoyed this series. It's the perfect amount of gore, psychological thrills, and a great guessing game about who is the killer. There are many plot twists that you won't see coming and little details that won't make sense until you make it to the end of the book. It was a carefully crafted series that will forever hold a place in my heart.

Barry Lyga is a phenomenal writer. Soon after finishing this series, I picked up Bang and got to enjoy his writing style some more. He also recently came out with Time Will Tell which of course I bought, and I am excited to read another one of his books again with his amazing writing abilities. I will go ahead and say I believe that Barry Lyga is one of the most consistently best writers that I have come across.
