Amanda (amanda_m) | 1 comments The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers has queer characters, sapphics, non-binary characters/gender is weird, and a strong found family aspect. It is super cozy sci-fi and I loved it so much :)
Also the Murderbot diaries + the Wayward Children series both have strong found family aspects and are so much fun!

ReadingMermaid | 26 comments Six of Crows, Gearbreakers, Red White and Royal Blue, and One Last Stop are some of my fave comfort queer found family books! And if you're into graphic novels, the Heartstopper books (or literally any of Alice Oseman's other novels) are so cute and full of queer rep

Victor (cockrobinisdead) | 3 comments Boyfriend Material by Alexis Hall has a delightful ensemble of friends and co-workers who created a wonderful found family feeling around the main character and his love interest. (cw for mentions of disordered eating)
Also The Stars and the Blackness Between Them by Junauda Petrus-Nasah, which does feature some strong biological family connections, but it feels like found family to me because of one characters sort of gets brought into the existing family and friends' unit. (cw for parental abuse (brief) and mentioned in flashback and a teen with a terminal illness)

Alexis ₍ᐢ._.ᐢ₎♡ ༘ (alexisgetsit) Where do you listen to audiobooks? I don’t have audible or any other audiobook platform, and id LOVE to listen to audiobooks but like yeah. Where to go? Can you recommend a specific app maybe? Thanks for your recs :)
