I just released my first book back in April and am looking for some honest Amazon reviews. It's called Remedial Magic, and is the first book in a planned fantasy series.
BLURB:
As a washed-up and forgotten sorcerer, Aldric’s only goal in life is to get drunk enough to forget his tragic past. That is, until his friends coerce him into a teaching position at one of the most prestigious magic academies in the world. Now he’s saddled with the responsibility of teaching four new pupils, all of whom wonder who this brilliant yet unorthodox man truly is.
But Aldric’s past demons aren’t gone. They’ve only been lying in wait. As wars, rulers and politics all begin to catch up with him, Aldric’s newfound place to belong is threatened by the very things he’s been trying to escape.
It’s time for Aldric to finally confront his past. And learn some new lessons himself.

I am an indie author who released my first fantasy novel May 9, and will release the prologue in a week. The sequel will come later this year. Let me know if you have any interest! Thanks!
Fury (23k words) novella prologue:
If you’re looking for a fun, witty fantasy tale wrought with magical creatures, clever plot twists, and a strong female protagonist who will feel like your best friend, then this story is for you.
In an ancient land where myth and magic thrive, one stubborn she-elf named Emma must fight for her life against the powers of darkness, a behemoth squid, and the fury that resides in her own heart. Fury is the prequel novella to the Epic of Faölan series and ends with no cliffhangers, but will give you every reason to dive into reading the rich and fantastical YA novels that follow.
Tempest (103K) first book in series:
Enter Jarlith. Overlooking the sea, Jarlith spots an armada of foreign ships approaching the coast of his village. As soon as Jarlith sees the red sails on the ships, he knows who they are—the enemy. At that exact moment, the tempest begins. Lightning crackles, splitting the stormy skies overhead, as a deadly mix of rain and fire begin falling. Out on the rough seas, waves beat against the approaching enemy ships, but Jarlith understands that no natural force will stop the invading armada. It will be up to Jarlith to save his people. Realizing this compels Jarlith to enlist with the Jakurian guard and unite with an estranged kingdom across the lands of Faölan. Together, they will have a fighting chance of liberating the capital city of Jakuri from this invasion.
Hallis is a forest dweller, and feels a connection to all life around him. But when his best friend, Sapphire, is kidnapped by the invaders, he is forced to leave the solitary life he knew amongst his elfish folk, and venture forth to rescue her. The journey is rife with battles, tricksters, centaurs, giants, and other monsters that Hallis has never before encountered. Soon he is swept up with a roving band of centaurs who are relentless in their aim to re-establish solidarity between tribes and unify all of the species throughout Faölan.
The two stories intertwine and conclude in an epic tale of friendship, betrayal, and romance as Jarlith and Hallis come together to liberate the capital. This stand-alone novel is an action-packed fantasy, full of new creatures, magical abilities, warfare, and intrigue that will leave you wanting more and eager to dive into Book Two of the Epic of Faölan series.

Hi Emily,
I am seeking a quality reviewer to read and review my book The Ghost Moth. It is a slow burn horror - not Jack Nicholson putting an axe through a door, but a creeping horror that will make you really feel for the protagonist. It is historical, being set in the 1500's and there is a witch burning - which hopefully will make your stomach turn! - along with a splash of paranormal.

Five deadly Trials. An ancient, sinister evil.
One lost witch with the power to save the world.
Welcome to Asylum.
Twelve-year-old Hayden Black has never been normal, that much she knew, but when her father is abducted by demons, she learns just how remarkable she truly is. Not only is she a witch, but Heaven’s angels have chosen her as the next Salem Witch, destined to protect the world from evil… if she can survive the deadly Salem Witch Trials first.
Now Hayden must traverse the magical world of Asylum and learn to use her powers. If she doesn’t master all five elements — air, fire, water, earth, and Spirit — before her seventeenth birthday, she forfeits her life.
Hayden might have started her journey orphaned and alone, but it doesn’t take her long to forge new friendships and attract new enemies. Hayden thought her only nemesis was the residential bully, but her greatest enemy, a terrible evil lurking in the shadows, has yet to reveal itself.
Will Hayden master her air magic in time to save her friends and find her father? Or will she perish alongside them?
The Lost Witch is the first book in an urban fantasy series intended for readers ages ten and above who love Percy Jackson and Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Hi Emily,
I write dark fantasy and sci-fi. I think my Worlds Beyond Scripture series is the right fit for you. The newest entry, Crescent Moon, Mourning Son: Part I, released earlier this month.
I have provided descriptions of the first and the latest books below, so you can see if it's up your alley.
BOOK I
Through the Psyche of Ambrosia: Part I
Raised by his Mothers on the principles of the Goddess, but not one to believe, Ambrosia longs for the day when he can free himself of faith completely. Mona, a family friend, offers to grant his wish.
He arrives in the city of Hartland where he meets a number of intriguing characters, including the Frenchmen Gany, and clairvoyant, Gliese. There is also a set of twins, for whom Ambrosia soon builds a rapport. There's the ever introverted Summer, and her more outgoing sister, Star.
Soon strange things start to happen that can't be explained. A house seems to change on its own, while nightmares spill over into the waking world. It forces Ambrosia to face reality.
Either magic exists and the myths are real, or he's lost his mind completely.
The answer will bring him to his knees.
BOOK V
Crescent Moon, Mourning Son: Part I
A storm is coming...
The earth is in dire straits. The Apocalypse has come and Ambrosia stands face to face with a Celestial asking him to make a choice. There is a terror lurking in the midst. There is darkness in the shadow. Foes so formidable as to frighten other Numani, guardians of the realm. For they wield a very powerful weapon. The anomaly has been awoken. It threatens to destroy the very fabric of existence as it is known.
Yet there is still hope. When secrets are revealed, one finds they are more than they seem. Still, will it be enough to overcome the odds, or is the future already set in stone? The Goddess has a plan for us all.
It is this newest book that I'm looking to get reviewed. If interested, I could send a free print copy. Though it is part of a series, I believe it stands well enough on its own.
If interested, please feel free to dm me here, or message byronfortin@gmail.com. Thanks for the generous offer to read and review people's work!

I would like to ask if you would review my book. It is a fantasy novel titled The Shroud and it has just come out on Amazon and other bookstores.
The story takes place in 16th-century Europe. In it, Queen Elizabeth's former spymaster, Hertford, is recruited by a court faction, the Owls, to recover the Shroud of Turin from Rome before a rival faction can do so and use its supernatural power to usurp the throne. He succeeds, but when a third party starts killing off people from both sides to take the Shroud for himself, Hertford discovers that Gotthard Kettler, an old enemy of England, has reemerged to destroy everyone.
However, when the Owl that Hertford tries to alert is murdered, Kettler frames the old spymaster. Hunted by vengeful members of both factions and suspected by Elizabeth herself, Hertford is forced to go it alone as he pursues Kettler through catacombs, underground churches, and London back alleys, seeking to stop the conspiracies against him, the factions, and the queen by uncovering the secrets of the Shroud that link them all.
If this sounds like a book that might capture your interest, I can forward you a review copy in the e-reader format of your choice or you can get it via this Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B...
The book is 96,000 words in length.
Thanks very much for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I’m looking for reviews for my latest book, “Yuri & the Pig” (87,000 words published by Wild Wolf Publishing), a work of fiction based on the current war in Ukraine. However, the countries involved are fictitious, too.
Amazon link: https://mybook.to/ynp
The following is the blurb:
“From the best-selling author of the Charlie Smithers adventures.
A farmer and his pig set off on an extraordinary quest across war-torn Eastern Europe.
Entangled in a savage war, the country of Xoraina is fighting for its very existence; but to Yuri, a simple peasant from a remote mountain village, it seems all but certain that the invading Zlaimperians must ultimately prevail. Not that it is of any consequence to him, of course. In Yuri’s view, every form of government is equally bad, so it makes very little difference who holds the reins of power. Indeed, throughout time, the only things that have ever really mattered are that the soil be tilled, the cows milked, and the pigs shipped to market, all in a timely fashion.
But when an exorbitant new tax threatens that philosophy, he sets off with his pig across the war-ravaged land to the Capital in order to fight the injustice. In the process, their journey becomes a road to a terrible enlightenment, causing Yuri to question his deeply seated beliefs. But only when he and his pig find themselves placed squarely in destiny’s path is there any hope of those questions finding answers.”
If interested, please contact me at clovatt@xplornet.ca and I’ll arrange for you to receive an e-copy in the format you prefer.
Thank you for your time.
