This book was created to help children deal with the possibility of friends or family members having cancer. It was written by the author after a close friend’s young daughter passed away from a battle with cancer. It highlights the importance of family and friends supporting and encouraging each other during the difficult times cancer can create. This challenging topic is presented in a manner that is easy for children to understand. It includes real-life ways others can help people impacted by cancer. The book uses humor to help lighten the heavy hearts of those coping with sickness.
I read one with the same title a few years ago but it had noting to do with cancer. I think the word Tail was written as Tale, and charted the dog's entire life from being bought as a puppy to being put down as an old after the death of it's owner when it pined for them.
