Hi Robin,

I am Manybooks and I am one of the moderators for the Children's Literature Group.

I just want to make you aware that your promotional post was targeted this morning (June 6th, 2025) by someone named Michael who sent you a really nastily worded threat in all capitals (basically saying that if you did not stop promoting your work on Amazon and on social media they would hijack your work using AI etc.). I reached out to the other moderators regarding how to proceed but I also flagged Michael's comment as harassment to Goodreads Staff. And albeit GR staff removed the post very quickly, I do think you should keep your eyes open, reach out to Goodreads yourself and maybe even consider contacting a lawyer.

Oh and yes, if you receive another such threat, do not engage with the poster!!
