25.2 - XBM's Task: A's all around
Summer is the birthday season at my house. My spouse, three of my children and three of my grandchildren all have birthdays. Six of their names start with A.
In honor of this:

Option 1:
Read 2 books, one of each.
Book 1: Read a book with 3 or more A's in the title/subtitle
AND
Book 2: Read a book with 3 or more A's in the author's name. All name parts are included. Single authors only.

OR

Option 2:
Read a book with 500 or more pages that fulfills both of the above requirements.

If I use Option 1, does the total page count of the two books need to be > 500 pages? Or is the > 500 pages only for Option 2?

If you choose option 1, each book must be at least 100 pages (per default rules), but there is no total page count requirement.

Just wanted to make sure that this will count for a single author. There are two authors listed, but one of them only wrote the foreword...the one with 3 a's in her name wrote the actual book.

I'm sorry that I missed seeing this. According to the rules of the challenge: "Only authors that are identified as authors (or a default blank in the author role field), co-authors, or contributors may be used for tasks involving author information. Other roles or functions such as editor, illustrator, artist, translator, introduction, designed by, foreward, preface, assistant or afterword may not be used for author-sourced tasks."
I read that to mean that the book will work.
