Time and Again question

I'm pounding my brain trying to recall a title. The book is similar to Time and Again. I know the author's first name is Jon.
A modern-day couple start having troubles when the man begins to see flashes of another life in the 1800s. The visions only come on when it starts to snow.
Very well written and takes place is modern-day and old New York.
