I’m in the business of creating fairy tales.
Theme parks. Production companies. Five-star hotels.
Everything could be all mine if I renovated Dreamland.
My initial idea of hiring Zahra was good in theory, but then I kissed her.
Things spiraled out of control once I texted her using an alias.
By the time I realized where I went wrong, it was too late.
People like me don’t get happy endings.
Not when we’re destined to ruin them.

After submitting a drunk proposal criticizing Dreamland’s most expensive ride, I should have been fired.
Instead, Rowan Kane offered me a dream job.
The catch? I had to work for the most difficult boss I’d ever met.
Rowan was rude and completely off-limits, but my heart didn’t care.
At least not until I discovered his secret.
It was time to teach the billionaire that money couldn’t fix everything.
Especially not us.

(view spoiler)[ ok I’m liking this book so far! I’m a huge Disney world fan, so I’m loving it. However I though Pg 82 was kinda random… which took away from the spice factor. Who just randomly makes a comment about the size of their boss’ dick? And then he just pounces on her? I wish she made more note about his expression or body language or a shift in the air in the room… something to build it up more. But also, chapter 13… these texts…. Is Zahra this open with strangers? Inviting someone she doesn’t even know or what they look like or their name over for dinner? Telling him about her childhood? Seems a bit much for a “thanks for drawing me a picture” situation. But also why couldn’t Rowan just say he drew it lol what’s the big deal

Chapters 1-10 (view spoiler)[I’m not loving this book at all! I don’t like Rowan and I don’t like Zane’s. The “business” aspect is boring to read, and I actually read business books. Dreamland just seems like a knockoff of Disneyland. (hide spoiler)]

I think Carissa and I both liked the second book more than this one.

I did not like Ani because she was not the correct representation of someone who has Down Syndrome. Rowan and Zhara were fine, and the plot was not something I've ever read before. I think it was just more I was bored reading it because the writing just fell flat at certain times.
