Aussie Readers discussion

It's time to mark our calendars for our second quarterly read-a-thon for 2022. It will take place Friday June 10th at 12.01am and continue until Sunday June 12th at 11.59pm in your local time zone - 3 full days :)

We read 28,732 pages last quarterly read-a-thon, so for our June/Winter readathon we'll aim for 29,000 pages.

Please post your interest here in this thread up until we begin the challenge - when the weekend is over the page numbers read will be tallied :)

If possible, check in at least once a day, more often if you want. Our cut off time for you to add your final totals with a NEW POST will be Monday 13th June AEST :)

I've been in a terrible months-long reading slump that shows no sign of abating, but I'll sign up anyway. Maybe a little forced reading is the push I need?

No one is on commission Mabel - but having the link means others can check out the books you list to add to their own want to read lists.

I find the links really useful as it means I can learn more about a book and maybe add it to my 'want to read' list.
I'm excited for the readathon but I won't be up at 1 minute past midnight to start. Friday is a bit of a blow out for me with errands and a half day meeting but I'll be reading all weekend. :)
