The School for Good and Evil
question
anyone else dislike the ending?

*spoilers*
I was really enjoying this book right up until the end. There was so much back and forth, it got kind of convoluted.
Also was anyone else confused by the kiss? I know they were trying "reclaim" true loves kiss but it just felt like queer baiting.
I wish it had ended with Sophie full on evil with everything falling apart. that would have gotten me hyped for the sequel. instead it just feels like Agatha is being used and going to get dragged through the mud by Sophie AGAIN which she dealt with the entire book.

I felt the same way!! It felt like such weird and cheap ending. I'm not against having a queer relationship in a book or anything but... they DON'T. They literally fight each other for 80% of the book and didn't have any chemistry for the most part.
