Hey Kim! I'm glad you posted this because I need a buddy to keep me on target, too. I lost my dad in February and it knocked me off course. Count me in!I was also hoping to revive our discussion threads since those help keep me engaged, but I don't want to step on any toes! I'm going to reach out to Jane and see if I can be of any help :)
Hi, I am the same way as Stephanie -- it goes in waves-- I am trying so hard to read one book a month for this years challenge. It is hard to stay motivated. Thanks for the post Kim. I wouldn't mind just keeping in touch with anyone doing this challenge. A buddy system would be great.

I would love to join some kind of summer challenge too. I have also lost a bit of reading mojo at the moment. So would be nice with a buddy system or challenge or just something to motive. Great idea Kim ☺️
I am having quite the time with my Rory goal for this year (my goal was to read 7 books-- one from each season. Zero have been finished).
Is anyone else unmotivated? And interested in some sort of buddy read for the summer? I'm not even thinking the same book for buddy read, but "my buddy(s) and I are reading a book that is on the B&W Rory list for Season 1" kinda thing. Or that time we picked a word to spell and the title/author started with the letter?
Basically, I'm wanting to reach out to others to be as flexible as possible so whoever wants to participate can.
Ugh peeps, somehow my covid reading slump happened spring of 2022. Which, *shrugs* is only like 28 months late.
