Wayne Jordaan | 825 comments Good day members.

For the first half of the year members compiled a pool of books which are still available for reading and can be found here:
www.goodreads.com/topic/show/22134366...

For the second half, we will compile a new pool of books, but this time it will comprise titles written by South Africans. Why, because "Local is Lekka".

Members are invited to nominate one book for addition to the pool. In order to allow extensive participation, members are asked to restrict themselves to only one book nomination. Second and third suggestions will be placed on a shortlist, which might be added depending on the number of nominations received.

Please note: Authors in the group are encouraged to nominate their own books for inclusion in the pool, a rare opportunity.

Nominations will be open from 10 June to 24 Jun.

(And if you need 2nd and 3rd choices, The Housemaid's Daughter and The Girl from Simon's Bay are there, too!)

Best wishes

Wayne Jordaan | 825 comments Thank you to everyone who has nominated books to our reading pool. All books suggested will be added to the pool, and in line with our practise, both a non-spoiler and spoiler thread will be set up for our comments. What makes this exciting is that we might have authors contributing to discussions. I am looking forward to it. Enjoy your reading.
