What they mean to your character: Ryana tries her best to make sure her mother means nothing to her but she herself knows that this is not likely to happen. Her mother has been abusing her pretty much her whole life and the only time she has ever listened to Ryana was when Ryana told her that living with her drunk father was not safe. Ryana usually tries her best to spend all her nights in school just so that she can stay away from her mother.

What they mean to your character: There was a time when Ryana cared for her father but that time is long gone. Her father was also abusive and was drunk. He turned homicidal and started throwing knifes at Ryana, hence Ryana made the decision to move away from him whether her mother would agree to come with her or not.

Personality: Ryana has always been a quiet and shy girl. She is also intelligent and usually excels in almost everything. She is kind and will help anyone in need of it. Ryana is also very hard to impress. Some bullies and stalkers in her younger years had figured out that she was abused by her parens and so she has been a common target for bullies ever since. Although the bullying doesn't affect her much since it's pretty much equivalent to her parents abusing her, she's still a little scared of the bullies which is something they use to their advantage.
History: Born to abusive parents, all Ryana ever wanted to do was find somewhere where she could be alone or at least without them. She cherished every moment at school or anywhere outside her house. When she was 10, her father started drinking and started abusing her more and more. At the age of 11, she convinced her mother to shift with her to someplace away from her father. After that her mother remarried, leaving her alone yet again. At the age of 14, she gave a test to get into high school and passed. She has been studying there ever since and usually spends whole days and nights in the library, not wanting to go back to her parents,

After the death of her father and younger sister her mother has been the only one she has had. She doesn't exactly trust her mother but she know that her mom wouldn't be as sane as she is if she'd lost her along with her father and sister, so she stays with her mom, no matter what her mother says or does.

What they mean to you character: Rose always had seemed like a responsibility to Railee, that didn't mean she didn't love her. Railee loved Rose almost as much she loved their father. She wanted to protect Rose no matter what, but when she came to know that Rose and father had died due to a car accident she couldn't help thinking that it was all he fault. She should have found a way to protect them all the time. She shouldn't have declined when her father asked her if she wanted to go to a car ride with them. But she did and now it was her fault that they had died.

Personality: Railee has a mysterious aura around her. She is very shy and introverted and never talks much about her own life. She is really good at hiding her emotions from others and therefore doesn't get bullied that often even though almost all the bullies know that she has lost her father and sister and some of them also know that she thinks it's her fault. She's kind to almost everyone around her. She also suffers from depression.
History: As a child, her mother didn't treat her very well but her father treated her like she was the only reason he was alive. She grew up getting bullied and always felt like she didn't belong anywhere. This led to her becoming suicidal and depressed. That was until she got a small sister. When Rose was born Railee felt that it was her personal responsibility to protect her. One day, her father decided to take Rose for a car ride. He asked Railee if she wanted to come but she declined, saying that she had some homework to do. That day after few hours she came to know that Rose and father had died in a car accident. Driven by guilt, she became suicidal again. The only reason she hasn't committed suicide yet is because she knows her mother needs her.
