Nicholas (amicusarcane) | 5 comments looking for books that have a camp slasher theme. any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Two Envelopes And A Phone Camp slashers, that are in books not movies - wow, that's actually a tough one.

As far as something marketed as Horror goes, right now I can only think of Off Season (Dead River, #1) by Jack Ketchum ...and The Cabin at the End of the World by Paul Tremblay (if the victims start out in a, uh, cabin in the woods).

if the books can be more in the suspense line, I suppose you could consider Kin Dread by T.J. MacGregor , and Wilderness by Robert B. Parker .

It's a bit of a variant, but I'm going to throw in The Samaritan (Carter Blake #2) by Mason Cross

With all due respect, Devolution is about a bunch of affluent people in a house near the woods and an erupting Mt. Rainier being attacked by a group of sasquatches, That is not a summer camp slasher plot at all.
Jason running around Camp Crystal Lake with a hockey mask and a machete slashing counselors and anyone else who ventures near the camp a la Friday the 13th is the aesthetic the OP was inquiring about.
