I have always been a fan of vamp litt yet had never read Dracula.
I am pleased that I finally got to it.
I found it much easier to read than Frankenstein.
The language isn't always easy, but reading proper English and well spoken, polite characters is quite refreshing!
There is wonderful faith, sadness, desperation, love and devotion.
Stoker delved into interesting themes for the time, it is intriguing.
Though vampires have existed in world folklore for hundreds of years, Dracula seems to be our main point of reference.
I love all the interpretations and so many films, from the corny to the serious and terrifying.
Francis Ford Coppola's, based on Stoker's Dracula was beautifully done.
