I had some extra time before our next read at the end of the month (Shadows of the Sith comes out on the 26th of June. Very excited for this one!!)

In the meantime, I've been sadly sick with Covid. So I've been taking it easy, watching Smallville and reading Star Wars books.

So I decided to reread a couple faves. Starting with Lost Stars, which is my absolutely favorite Star Wars novel in the Disney canon. Wow that book grips me every time I read it.

I also decided to reread A New Dawn. I read it way back in the day when it first came out. In fact, my copy is an exclusive advanced copy. That's how long ago I read it, And at the time I hadn't seen Rebels. But I just finished Rebels for the first time and it stole my entire heart. I'm still in mourning for Kanan Jarrus. So it was cathartic to read this book again with the show in the forefront of my mind.

And now I'm diving head first into Dark Disciple all over again. Which is another favorite in the Disney canon. Quinlan Vos!! Yes please! And with certain Kenobi revelations in the air, it felt like the right time to pick this back up again.

The other books I'm looking to reread are: Lords of the Sith, Master and Apprentice, Heir to the Jedi and Bloodline.

Truth be told I never read the Padme trilogy by EK Johnston. I think I was kind of waiting for the whole things to be released so I could read them back to back to back, So that's on the docket too.

So many Star Wars books to get excited about, dive into and dive into all over again!!!!

Happy Reading, fellow travelers!!
