Alex (alexandrawiky) | 25 comments Hi,

Since the a new movie is releasing for George Saunders's "Escape from the Spiderhead" I found the online copy at New Yorker website.
If you type "Escape from the spiderhead Goodreads" in Google, the first result will be a direct link to the short story.
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&s...-

So when I try to add it to my goodreads reading list, the mobile app says there is a separate entity for the short story.
However when I open the link from chrome it redirects me to "Tenth of December"

I wonder what's going on here. Can someone please check on this? TIA

/A

Short stories published in magazines that have not been published separately, by themselves, are not considered books by Goodreads policy.
The short story appears to have been merged into the book in which is was published.
The cache in Google and Goodreads take a while to catch up with any changes.

Alex (alexandrawiky) | 25 comments Thanks Emily for the update. Yes. It seems like it appears in the mobile application because of the caching problem.
