Weird Fiction discussion

Let's not run a weird fiction group read for August. The two leading contenders for July's group read poll are both super big, long story collections. The last one we read took me more than two months to finish! Besides which we have the longest H. P. Lovecraft work being featured in August. The winner of the current poll will run two months, July 1 through the end of August.

But I will take nominations for September's group read, poll to run as always in mid-August. If you have a recommendation, go ahead and type it in now. You can always come back in and edit your message if you change your mind before mid-August. Up to two weird fiction nominations will be accepted.

I nominate Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio by Pu Songling.

Oh my - that Strange Tale from Chinese Studio sounds super amazing. It was written at the end of the XVII century which sets it apart right there!
