I'm starting.

Four chapters in and I'm starting over. I have no idea what's going on or who all these people are, lol.

There are a lot of people to keep track of. Magnus is in love with his sister? This is going to be awkward, lol.

Cleo needs to stand up to her father!

Yes, there are alot of characters to keep track of. Sabina is ruthless. She will what ever it takes to get what she wants. Not a fan of Aron. Sabina and Aron what make a good pair...both are ruthless. The Marcus loving Lucia his "sister" is awkward. It was cringy when Sabina came onto Marcus. Cleo and Lucia both need to stand up for themselves.

I started over and paid better attention. I hate Aron!

Did you watch Game of Thrones? I picture Sabina as the Red Priestess.

Yes, Aron is terrible. I have never watched Game of Thrones. My brother loved it and the books.

I hate how upset Jonas is at Cleo. I get why he'd be mad at her, but he's out of control. It should be Aron he's made at.

I LOVE Game of Thrones! I've watched it twice and read the books. This is Melisandre. She is the only thing I can picture whenever Sabina is around, lol.

I like Theon (view spoiler)[I guess that means he had to die, lol. (hide spoiler)]

I get why Cleo let to try to heal her sister, but she is kind of a spoiled brat. She even says multiple times basically...I do whatever I want, the punishment won't be too bad.

His anger towards Cleo was irrational...it should have been directed at Aron who killed his brother.

That is a good representation of Sabina.

I was sad that Theon was killed. Cleo is spoiled but her heart was in the right place. Her excursions costed 2 people's lives, though.

Finished. King Gaius is evil. He has no problem using anyone then getting rid of them. I think Magnus could be a good guy if he stops trying to please his father. The whole loving his "sister" is cringy but I think it is understandable. She was the only one to show him any kindness. I enjoyed it. I want to know what will happen next. Are you interested in reading the whole series?

I'm on the last part so I will be done in a little bit.

It seems Kings are always evil in books. I'd like to read about a good king, lol.

Yes, majority of them are. I guess we need to be on the look out for a book that has one.

I have the next one on my shelf. Do you want to start it Friday or Tuesday?

Lets do Friday. I'm going to my mom's for the weekend so will have a 6-hour drive...lots of time to listen to a book, lol.

I already have the whole series downloaded. I got them from my library months ago and then never listened to them.
