Jessica | 225 comments I have been wanting to read this one for a while! Put it off, because I wanted to purchase the british version (I liked the look of it better), but I may just borrow it from the library first.

Jasmine (pikakejazz) Despite all of my best efforts, I am still out of order with this year's reading challenge. I'm actually going to read the Silkworm for the "Favorite Author" challenge since I read Cuckoo's Calling sometime last year, which I really enjoyed. I still don't know if I would personally call Rowling one of my "favorites" but of course, like most of the world having grown up with Harry Potter, she is one of my most-read authors so I guess that has to count for something. And I have been really impressed with her versatility in writing this series. Never thought that she would be able to write fun adult mysteries, too.

How are you liking it so far?

Jessica | 225 comments I had difficulty getting into it mainly cause I have been distracted by life and other things, but now I am really enjoying it! It takes a while to get going, but it makes sense considering the case he is working on is considered closed.

Jasmine (pikakejazz) Finally finished the Silkworm, too! I'm not normally a huge detective/sleuth mystery fiction fan, but I'm liking this series quite a bit.

My other comments here.

Megan (megan_morris) | 170 comments I just finished this and I have to say I was quite pleased with it - guessing right until the end. It took me a few attempts since this came out to get past the halfway point. I now really want to read Silkworm and more crime novels in general.
