This is a novella about a girl with a terminal disease who has always associated herself with the story of sleeping beauty. One evening she intentionally pricks her finger on a spinning wheel and is transported into another girl's tale. This was a fun story with strong female protagonists. The authors examination of the sleeping beauty tales and what they say about the cultures that created them is interesting. The world that Harrow creates in this book has a lot of potential and I look forward to continuing the series to see where she takes it.
