Play Book Tag discussion

Rain, rejected by her mother since birth as the result of a gang-rape, is determined to show her worth as a queen-to-be by becoming the best horse-woman in a society where women are the only ones able to tame horses. This was a quick, enjoyable read, and very different to the other books I have read by Hoffman. I liked Rain’s development throughout the book, although this did not happen with the other characters, and I also liked the world Hoffman built, showing relationships between women who relied on each other in a society where the only men were kept captive.
