Anyway, from reading several of the members’ comments, I’m gathering that we can choose just 1 challenge, we’re not expected to do all 5??? Also, how do the numbered titles of the challenges fit? Like “Eraser” and “Pen”? Do they have anything to do with the actual books chosen?

Hi Monica :)
I hope the move goes well. I moved cross-country two months ago, and I know how much work it is.
From what I've gathered, each person can pick 1-5 challenges - as many as you like. Also, I realized that each person made up their own challenges - what the challenges are, how many books to read on each challenge, and the like. I used all the examples and my knowledge of how much I read to pick what I'm going to do.

Emily wrote: "I'm a little late joining, but I'm interested in having a go at all 5 challenges because I want to see how far I get. I might not complete it, but it will be fun. I'll look back on July and see how..."
That's what I figured as well. Im trying to challenge myself and just have fun. The challenge ends December 31st, so quite a bit of time to try and complete our lists. :)

I hope your move goes well.
The names eraser, pen, etc. are just level names. It doesn't have anything to do with the books chosen.
As Emily and Andrea said, you get to pick/make your own 1-5 checklists that you hope to finish by December 31st. :)

I can totally understand that. Well done on your progress so far and I hope the paperbacks you have picked out are great reads. :)

Just updated mine and I need 3 more nonfiction and 5 (!) books that have been on my TBR for over 10 years. That last one might be a little difficult with the time remaining. I'll try my best. ;)
Sarita wrote: "Still to read lots from each category to make it :-)"

Thank you Melanie, yes - still 40 days left in the year so loads can happen :-)

I did finish 7/9 Paperbacks I own, 9/9 Kindle and 3/3 audio.
It was a good way to get me reading books I own over library books.
Thanks for the challenge!
