What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Fantasy/YA Fantasy- I only remeber a few scenes from this book so appologies for the random assortment of info. Probably read in 2020 or '21.

Part-fae heroine learning to use her magic/abilities(?) with help from male warrior shapeshifter faerie (possibly hawk shapeshifter). Heroine and male shapeshifter staying at a castle/fort with other faeries. Heroine works in kitchen when not training. Castle/fort is attacked at some point. There is a evil faerie/demon whose presence causes you to relive terrible things or experience pain.
Other random tidbit- There is a pack of warriors who shapeshift into big cats and are sworn to a fae queen who might be evil.

I'm almost certain this is either Heir of Fire or Queen of Shadows of the Throne of Glass series.

The FMC appears to be a human assassin in the first couple books (the above are 3rd and 4th) but is revealed that she is part-Fae (all Fae here can shapeshift) that shapeshifts into human, but was in a part of the land where there was no magic, and she was stuck as human, unable to turn back.

In either of those books, she goes to train with her unlocked magic in a castle in Fae lands alongside Rowan, a male Fae that turns into a hawk, which is part of a group of 4/5 male Fae warriors, the others besides Rowan turn into big cats (lion, panther, tiger, I think), and all five are loyal to a Fae Queen which is hinted to be evil for a while.

Don't remember anything about such a demon, but the rest of the details match too much to avoid suggesting it (the castle does get attacked, too). The heroine has strong command over fire magic.
