Ethan decides to turn the papers over to Fred Felbrigg, the commissioner of the Metropolitan Police. What did you think of his decision and rationale at the time?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments It was a rational decision. He had to trust someone with the authority to do something to stop Jenkyn.

I thought so, too, until he met with him. I knew Ethan was in trouble based on Felbrigg’s reaction. I think Ethan felt shaky about it, too.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I thought he did the right thing. How was he to know that everyone was corrupt?

Felbrigg’s public feud with Jenkyn was epic and Ethan’s rationale seemed good on paper. Shoulda worked.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments It should have worked, but Felbrigg was weak.

Were they both part of the corruption, just competing with each other for power?

Good question!

I don't believe Felbrigg was looking for power but the advantage of doing something that would have Jenkyn, the man with power, look on him favorably. Felbrigg seems weak to me. I don't think he would ever have real power.

Thanks for clarifying. I wasn’t sure what came first for him…the chicken or the egg!
