Juanmi | 9 comments I’m unable to get this one on Spain, but it seems it will be available starting September - fingers crossed!

Darrin (darrinlettinga) I put a copy on hold at the library and should have it soon.

Jessica | 167 comments I started a couple days ago and I'm on Chapter 5. It's an easy read, very interesting. I like the cover on my hardcover version.

Jessica | 167 comments I've just decided to share a story that is somewhat relevant to this book. I was outside on my back porch, reading chapter 4 where the author talks about leopards attacking humans in Asia. All of a sudden, I see movement out of the corner of my eye and I look up to see a black cat on my porch staring at me with it's yellow eyes. Scared the living day lights out of me. Lol. (I should add that I've had actual nightmares about a black panther sneaking up on me while I read on my back porch even though we have no black panthers in Michigan.) Of course, stray cats are no anomaly in my area but I've never had one come on to my porch while I was also on it. It's timing was quite a coincidence. I stared back until it jumped off the porch and went on it's way.

Jim (jimmaclachlan) | 744 comments That's funny, Jessica. Typical cat timing.

I found it interesting how they're spending resources checking the DNA of bears around Aspen & how troublesome they are. They weren't when I lived there in the early 70s, but it was a very different place then. Hadn't been discovered yet, thankfully. I lived on ranch, too.

It's amazing how difficult it is to rehome them. She describes some pretty amazing treks.

Hayley | 55 comments Just picked up this book yesterday so I hope to start it soon; it seems fantastic!

I hope you like it Hayley. I finished and I'm waiting to see what everyone else thinks. I wrote in my very short review that I think the book is good for bringing awareness to a complicated subject, animal/human conflict. It was sort of like the book we just read in non-fiction book club ("Eager", about beaver/human conflict) but it was much more broad.
