We had a tie for our 12 and under August 2022 BOTM Group Read. Read this one or the other or both. Comments for The Lemonade War will be in this thread. Will you continue the series?

A cute story and the ending was great. Predictable but still good. My only blah, and maybe I am just misguided by my own motherhood, but I really don't see how a boy age 9-10 and a girl age 7-8 could really get along so well pre-war. I just can't imagine that peacefulness.

Haha! Sounds interesting! I just borrowed the audiobook, I can't wait to read it! Who else will be reading this book this month?

I read this book last evening and it was so sweet!!! I absolutely loved it! Has anybody else read it/is going to read it? I think I might continue the series!!

I can see how the two of them got along so well. I love my siblings and while we still have our squabbles and fights, we are all really close. Evan and Jessie obviously had their squabbles as well, the whole book was about one, but I think it's sweet how well they get along.

I just placed hold on my copy. I'm behind on my reading schedule, but I'll finish this one by the end of the month. Can I just say the title is so intriguing? I think I'll start reading this with the book in one hand and a glass of lemonade in the other!
