What was the vibe you were going for?: I wanted a playlist for this year that I can enjoy literally whenever so I just threw together lots of my favorites and called it good! I titled it the way I did because I have this plan in my head for this year to be easy and quote-unquote "great" but heaven knows it'll all slip through my fingers because I get stressed out. I've also decided that this year is going to be music that leans more towards the Beatles, Tom Petty, disco, and classic rock.

Do you like school?: Nope! I'm good at it and I like my teachers but a lot of my classmates make it very hard to stay happy lol
Favorite subject: English or art I guess.
Favorite school lunch (gross lol): I don't usually eat school lunch anymore lol. I get food poisoning a lot so I will typically only eat the salads.
Do you usually have a clean locker?: Yeah, fairly clean.
Anything you'd change about your school?: A lot of teachers talk about how important it is to have good mental health, but never do anything more with it. They say we shouldn't feel stressed but give us a ton of homework and no way to cope with stress and expect us to leave class with an A and perfect mental health.
What's your school mascot/colors: We're the Eagles and our colors are black and gold. (Stereotypical, I know. I wish we were the Bears or Grizzlies or something and we had bright tangerine and magenta as our colors lol) It honestly isn't amazing that we're the Eagles because another school in our area are the Eagles and our town has this huge story about this giant, prehistoric turtle that was spotted a long time ago several times but never caught so we have lots of turtles all over the place but we're still the Eagles.

What was the vibe you were going for?: The "dog days" of summer, when everything starts to die down except the heat.

I made this playlist because I'm starting to get back into studying, but I'm not quite done with summer parties, sunset drives, and barbecues. My playlist is mainly instrumentals and non-English songs so I can completely vibe out. It's my go-to for a laid back hangout, but it's also pretty chill to listen to while studying. :)

General music genre: 80s rock, alt rock... rock in general
What was the vibe you were going for?: Well, at first it was supposed to be just a playlist for songs to listen to in the hall where it's loud (most of the songs are rather loud in this playlist...) or on the way to school, but then I decided to make it a transition from summer vibes to going back to school, to meeting new people, to being exhausted from school work, to meeting people and dating, to saying goodbye. So in short, it encompasses the whole school year.

Favorite subject: Engineering/computer science
Favorite school lunch (gross lol): Um just no. I bring my own lunch anyway, or eat out with friends.
Do you usually have a clean locker?: In ms I used to have... not a clean locker, but a locker. In hs, most people don't use the lockers (they're all alone now :( ) and they just carry all their stuff around. We're all hunchbacks turtle people nows...
Anything you'd change about your school?: Longer lunch, and more engineering classes. For some reason my school has over 40 social studies classes, but not even 10 engineering classes.
What's your school mascot/colors: green, black and white. The freshman wear red for spirit week though, which is very out of place. We have two mascots. But one of them is the mighty moos.

Do you like school?: I do in phases. there are days I want to do nothing else but study, and other days where I have to FORCE myself to do it.
Favorite subject: history or math
Favorite school lunch (gross lol): I'm homeschooled, so none, really, lol
Do you usually have a clean locker?: above answer, but my desk is most of the time.
Anything you'd change about your school?: well, I wish that they had a homeschooled homecoming dance near me. they do in cities, but not really around me.
What's your school mascot/colors: as my school is my room, Ravenclaw! Blue, bronze, and silver, baby! XD
I'm sure many of you are going back to school fairly quickly, or perhaps you're already back in the classroom. If you're anything like me, school makes you need therapy and the most easy (and free) therapy for me is music!
Here is the challenge: make a playlist that will get you back in the mood for school, or at least in a ready mindset so you can prepare yourself for the "experience" that is before you. The ideal playlist should be for any time of day! For your early mornings when you can barely force yourself out of bed. For the loud cafeterias and quiet study halls. For the hours after school when you go home to study or do homework. For your shower after sports practice. Literally any time that you can tie back to school.
Heres the goal: show us your music taste! This will be quote-unquote "judged" but, I want to do it in a fun way. Like a high school yearbook where they vote "most likely to" or something like that!
Go for any vibe you want! Whether that be a playlist you can use all day, or one specified for a quiet study hall.
Please feel free to ask any questions. The deadline for this challenge is August 17-20. That means I would adore them to be in by at least the 17th, but you have until the 20th to get them here. :)
