Post here when you finish each challenge, so I can check it off! Although encouraged, you don't have to add start and/or end dates. :)
I started reading "the grimrose girls" on August 9 and finished it today (24) and so completed the first challenge because one of the main characters, Nani, is half black, half Hawaiin :)
I also have one more question: for the third challenge, do I have to read a book that's about growth as well as a Bildungsroman (the same book)?

a bildungsroman is a coming-of-age novel; a book about growth isn't necessarily a bildungsroman. Note also that I didn't say it had to be about personal growth — for all I care, it could be about planting a tree and watching it grow! . . . although I think you could be more creative! :)
And it's either/or. you don't have to do both. it's an option! :)
You'll use this thread to post what book you use for each challenge. I recommend commenting a start and end date, but it's not required.
Also, please comment what coloring page(s) you intend to color. When you get a full page colored, feel free to post an image of it!
