Never too Late to Read Classics discussion

The short story read for August is "The Power of Darkness" by E Nesbit. This story can be found within From the Dead: The Complete Weird Stories of E. Nesbit or The Power of Darkness and Other Chilling Tales and likely other books as well. If you find it within another volume of Nesbit's work or a different anthology, please share that!

Anyone game to get a little spooked early in the autumn? I hear Halloween comes early this year.

An excellent story, perhaps not charming, but still enjoyable. The technology described is primitive by modern CGI standards, but I found the story unsettling.
