I have an interesting question. I have an ARC for a book that I picked up back in April because I read most of that author's books. I never got around to reading it since I still need to read the first in the series and the book is now published. If I checked out the book from the library, it wouldn't fall within the date deadline, but would it count if I went back and read the ARC I own instead?
I am planning to read the first book now, and I am trying not to reread books this year, so I am trying to find another option besides the one I have had checked out since Aug 8th if I don't finish it before it is due.

If you read an ARC now that you got before Aug 17 it would work.
Include the ARC info when you post to explain the dates

That he didn't, didn't already have
Read a book that you already have in your possession, from any source- borrowed, owned, etc., as of August 17.
By completing this task, you assert that you already had this book.
